Rise and Lead Girls’ Forum encourages girls to build confidence, recognize their unique potentials, to stand up for themselves and others, to impact our world positively, and to believe in their ability to create the change they want to see in their communities and the world at large.
On March 16th 2019, girls ages 8 -16 came together for the first Rise and Lead Girls’ Conference. They engaged and participated in various workshops (designed according to their age groups) and activities that impacted and empowered them.
These workshops and activities were clearly focused on coaching and mentoring the girls in the areas of positive and pen-Mindedness, personal growth and development, uniting and standing against bullying, dealing with and reporting sexual harrasment, mental health, personal & oral hygiene, and living life on purpose.
It was a day packed with useful information to help our girls become better versions of themsleves. They had the opportunity to share their ideas and experiences, while learning from experts strategies for better living. They took home conference packets that they will continue to study after the conference.
Most importantly, they had massive fun doing activities, listening and dancing to empowering tunes during their breaks, and enjoying good food and snacks all day.
What is learning without fun?
